Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor is best known for his character on the television show 'Law & Order Special Victims Unit. Since his time in university, Christopher Meloni has been interested in the acting world. He pursued a degree in acting at University of Colorado at Boulder. While he's appeared in both films and television, it is his characters in the smaller screen which gave him popularity and much admirers. He is able to create characters that reflect both the bad and good sides of the legal system. He can capture the audiences attention effortlessly. He played the part of a serial murderer in his first television series project and then went on to take on the role of an NYPD detective. For his work on the small screen, he's been nominated numerous times for the prestigious Emmy Awards. The piercingly blue eyes of his face are considered to be the most appealing aspect of his appearance. The eyes have been employed for portraying rough characters, as well as give them a sense of humour. People's magazine's 2006 list for Sexiest Men Alive included him.
