Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire, a quiet neighborhood located in the West Island of Montreal is what you might call a "sleepy" place. People unfamiliar with the term frequently think that it's an island that's to the west of Montreal However, in reality the West Island is home to all things from the City of Lachine west. It is often cited as being the place of birth for Amanda Brugel but while that is true, her stay in the city was brief. Brugel developed on Courtice just outside Oshawa located in Ontario. She wanted to become a professional dancer but because of a huge increase in her height, she outgrew every dance partner she met. In an article published in The Toronto Star she admitted In heels, I'm 6'1 inch. As I got bigger than my male counterparts, I gave up. There are many dancers who make the move to acting. For the Brugel family, it was their drama teacher who nudged her in that direction. It was the teacher who recommended she take on a part in the annual school production. The audition was successful and she was chosen as Anne of Green Gables. The show was granted a Fine Arts Talent Scholarship to go to York University's Theatre Program, where she graduated from the program in 2000, earning a degree of Bachelor's in Fine Arts. The career of Brugel spans more than 20 years and she's performed in more than 60 shows that have screened on large screens as well as smaller screens. The most well-known role she played was that of Rita (pictured in the below photo) on The Handmaid's Tale. Brugel was the sole Canadian actor on the show in Season 1 which was viewed only at times.

Aubrey Peeples, an American actor and singer from the United States. Her most well-known role was her role as Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012) in addition to Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). She played the leading role Jerrica Jem Benton in the 2015 film Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples is the daughter of Wendy and Ashley Peeples. There is a younger sister Ally.
